Physics and simulation

With Blender Bridge, ChatGPT, Claude, Codex and other AI set up physics in Blender: falling objects, cloth, fluids, smoke, particles. You describe what should happen; the AI places the objects, sets their properties, bakes the simulation and shows you the result. You can render the finished simulation to video in the background.

What you can simulate

How to ask

Examples:

Baking and rendering

The AI bakes the simulation so it plays back the same way every time and renders without recalculating. Before a background video, ask the AI to bake the simulation to a file cache and show frames from the start, middle and end. Long videos are best rendered in the background: a copy of the scene renders in a separate Blender, your Blender stays responsive, you see the progress and can stop the render — see Rendering.

If a simulation goes wrong, return the scene settings to the checkpoint you need, refine the request and ask the AI to bake again: a checkpoint doesn't roll back the baked file cache. Related: Animation.
