Animation in Blender with AI
Keyframes, camera moves, simple cycles — anything that can be done in code can be done here.
What is available
Animation in Blender is described by the same Python API as everything else, so it is available on the same terms: keyframes, interpolation, camera movement, object rotation and translation, simple cycles, work with the timeline.
You can ask for it in ordinary words: "rotate the cube 360 degrees over two seconds", "move the camera from the door to the table over a hundred frames", "make the light blink every half second".
What to keep in mind
- Say how long. "Slowly" and "quickly" are open to interpretation; "over 48 frames" is not.
- Say what moves. Object, camera or light — the code differs.
- Check by frame. A viewport screenshot shows one moment; ask to look at the start, the middle and the end.
Frequently asked questions
How do I set the speed so the result is predictable?
In frames, not adverbs. "Slowly" is read differently by every assistant; "over 48 frames" is not. If the duration in seconds matters, name the scene's frame rate as well.
How do I check an animation when a screenshot shows one moment?
Ask for several frames: the start, the middle and the end. That shows you the result and lets the assistant see its own mistake.
Can I animate a rigged character?
Rigging and armature work are available. But a character needs noticeably more detailed instruction than an object: where the bones are, what is parented to what, what the rest pose is.
