Security and privacy

Blender Bridge is built so that your Blender takes commands only from your account and the people you let in. Every command is checked against your account's access, and another person reaches your Blender only with your consent. Usage statistics contain none of your prompts, AI conversations, code, scenes or images. Here is how it works.

What usage statistics contain

Usage statistics contain only technical events, such as a command finishing or failing. They never contain:

Files you download from the chat. When you download a render, model or scene from the chat, the file passes through the Blender Bridge server. It is kept there for 24 hours behind a private signed link issued to your chat, then deleted.

Your files

Saved scenes, renders and models are regular files on your computer, in your project folder. They stay yours after your subscription ends. Blender Bridge's file tools keep existing results by default: export never overwrites a file, and saving over one takes an explicit request. The AI's instructions tell it to ask before changing work you didn't mention.

Updates

The app and Blender Bridge MCP update through signed releases: the app checks the update's signature before installing it. The browser extension updates through the Chrome Web Store.
