Blender from any device
With Blender Bridge, you can work in Blender from a chat in your browser or on your phone. Blender itself stays on your computer, with all its power, its GPU and your files. You talk to the AI in ChatGPT or Claude from a laptop, tablet or phone, and it builds the scene in that Blender, shows you the result and hands you the finished files.
How it works
- The Blender Bridge app runs on your Blender computer.
- You connect the chat to the Blender Bridge server at
https://mcp.blenderbridge.com/mcpand sign in with your Blender Bridge account. Steps for ChatGPT and Claude are on the plugin page. - In the chat, you choose the computer you want to work on. From then on, the AI works in that Blender wherever you are.
The Blender Bridge server passes commands between the chat and your computer. The scene is built and rendered in your Blender. A file you download from the chat is kept on the server for 24 hours behind a private signed link.
What you can do from a phone
- Build and change scenes in words: "put a vase with flowers on the table", "make the light feel like evening".
- See the result. The AI sends scene screenshots, and in chats that show app panels the Blender Bridge panel shows the scene view, checkpoints and project files.
- Render. Ask for a background render: a copy of the scene renders in a separate Blender on your computer while the chat shows the progress.
- Go back a step. Blender Bridge saves the AI's steps as checkpoints, and a return can be undone.
- Download the result: the
.blendscene, a render, a model for Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot or 3D printing.
What you need
- A Windows computer with Blender 4.2 or later and the Blender Bridge app. Keep the computer on and the app running.
- A chat with the plugin or custom connectors: ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral Le Chat, Perplexity.
- A Blender Bridge account with a confirmed email and active access.
Two people, one Blender
The same way, you can work with someone else. Invite them by their Blender Bridge account email, and they work in your Blender through their own AI. Commands reach your computer only after you agree.
