Blender Bridge plugin for ChatGPT and Claude

The Blender Bridge plugin connects ChatGPT and Claude to your Blender. The AI builds the scene in Blender on your computer while you write to it from a desktop, a laptop or a phone. In chats that support app panels, a Blender Bridge panel opens beside the conversation with the scene, checkpoints, project files and render progress.

How to connect

The Blender Bridge listing is being prepared for the ChatGPT and Claude catalogs. You can connect the same server today at https://mcp.blenderbridge.com/mcp.

ChatGPT:

  1. Open the Plugins page, click + and choose Add custom MCP server.
  2. Enter the name Blender Bridge and a description. Under Connection, paste https://mcp.blenderbridge.com/mcp, choose OAuth sign-in, confirm the settings and click Create as a plugin. Sign in with your Blender Bridge account when the sign-in page opens, then install the resulting plugin.
  3. Start a new chat, pick Blender Bridge with @ and ask it to list your computers.

Adding custom servers depends on what your ChatGPT account or workspace allows.

Claude:

  1. Open Customize → Connectors and click + Add → Add custom connector.
  2. Enter the name Blender Bridge and https://mcp.blenderbridge.com/mcp, complete setup with OAuth sign-in, and sign in with your Blender Bridge account.
  3. In a conversation, enable Blender Bridge through + → Connectors and ask it to list your computers.

On Team and Enterprise, an organization administrator adds the connector first.

The Blender Bridge app must be running on the computer you choose.
