Building 3D models with AI
What to ask for, how to phrase it, and why the result is a real Blender scene rather than a picture.
What you end up with
Not a picture, and not a finished mesh you cannot touch. You end up with a real Blender scene, built by real Blender operations. You can open it, move things, relight it, render it and save it exactly like a file you made by hand.
That is why the work is not capped by a generator's limits: whatever Blender can do is available here too.
How to phrase a request
The limit on precision is the same as for a person writing the code by hand: how clearly the task is described. A simple rule works — name the object, the size, the position and the mood.
- Weak: "make it look good".
- Good: "put a table two metres by one in the centre of the scene, three candles of different heights on it, camera at the eye level of a seated person".
- Better still, say what to do with light: "warm light from the candles, everything else in half darkness".
What you can ask for
Blender Bridge works through Blender's own Python API, which means it addresses the program itself: scene construction and modelling, modifiers and geometry nodes, materials and shading, lighting, cameras and world, animation and rigging, physics, sculpting, rendering and compositing, import and export.
When it comes out wrong
Press undo in the panel and say it differently. That loop — ask, look, correct — is how the work is done, not a sign that something is broken.
